iPhone 6 in Space! HD balloon flight to 101,000 Feet by UAG

On November 28th, 2014 we sent a brand new iPhone 6 on the ultimate adventure to the stratosphere. On its journey, the iPhone reached a height of over 101,000 feet and encountered temperatures as cold as -79 degrees F and winds as strong as 70 MPH. During the descent the iPhone 6 and flight rig withstood a 150 PRM rotation as the parachute deployed and the rig fought to stabilize.

Upon landing the flight rig broke apart, however the iPhone remained unscathed and in perfect working order….

  8. this video is the total proof that earth is not flat like some crazy ppl believe..
the cellphone's shape is not curved by the lens, it is clearly straight yet the earth is curved, this must be a solid proof and it looks legit.

  9. The point wasn't to have it fall and survive it wasn't a drop test they even said in the description that there was a parachute the point was to bring it into space

  10. infinite warfare vibes

  16. THIS WASN'T SPACE. IT WAS THE STRATOSPHERE. THAT IS WHY YOU COULD SEE THE BLUE GLOW OF THE TROPOSPHERE SO WELL.

  17. Did you use fisheye lens on the gopros? I'm using this video to show a flat earth believer. I'm sure you've come across them in this video…. it's embarrassing for humankind.

Also, where is the footage from the iPhone itself?

  18. Guys this wasn't meant to be a drop test. Read the title carefully, where on earth does it say "drop test"? This was meant to show how the iphone "encountered temperatures as cold as -79 degrees F and winds as strong as 70 MPH. During the descent the iPhone 6 and flight rig withstood a 150 PRM rotation as the parachute deployed and the rig fought to stabilize." and "was powered on and tested for full functionality".

  19. the higher it goes the colder it gets

  20. if i found that first i would reset it fast and take of the case so you can't track it
